Max has over eight years of personal training experience. After studying and completing a Masters degree in Marine Biology he decided that one of his real passions is helping people achieve their health and fitness goals. Max completed a REPs Level 3 certificate in 2013 and has since worked with a wide range of clients, both within New Zealand and the UK. Max is Precision Nutrition level 1 certified which perfectly compliments training in the gym.

Max has trained and enjoys working with clients with many different goals, such as weight-loss, strength training for an event or endurance race or just being the best version of themselves. Max aims to strike the perfect balance of pushing people in a safe and fun way to achieve their goals. No goal is insurmountable with the right amount of direction and dedication.

Max represented New Zealand in Triathlon at an age group level and competed at a world championship race in Canada. He still has a strong interest in triathlon but has hung up the running shoes and spends most of his training time getting stronger in the gym. A keen outdoors person Max can be found exploring the countryside by bike or the city by foot.
