Professional Experience

Florence is a Level 3 Personal Trainer with a background that blends high-performance sport and creative industry problem-solving. After nearly eight years as a Graphic/UX Designer and creative producer – including helping to launch two businesses from the ground up – she returned to her first passion: coaching people to feel, move, and perform better. Her sporting roots as a middle-distance athlete at Loughborough University inform a methodical, athlete-centred approach to training.

Since qualifying, Florence has coached a diverse range of clients with goals spanning injury rehabilitation, improved mobility and sports performance, muscle gain, and sustainable weight loss. She specialises in designing clear, personalised plans that educate clients as much as they challenge them, so improvements in the gym translate into stronger, healthier day-to-day lives. Clients consistently benefit from her standout strengths: excellent communication, patience, consistent yet adaptable programming, relationship-building, and a genuinely holistic view of health.

Coaching Philosophy

Florence believes in developing strength of body and mind in tandem. She creates a supportive but purposeful training environment where clients build confidence, push past perceived limits, and enjoy the process of getting stronger. Progress is measured not only by numbers on a barbell or stopwatch, but by how that strength carries over into every area of life – with aesthetic changes viewed as a welcome bonus rather than the sole focus.

Personal Interests

A lifelong sport enthusiast, Florence spent her first 16 years obsessed with football and still loves playing team sports. Away from training, music is a daily non-negotiable – she’s often at gigs or festivals – and her design background fuels a passion for art, design, and photography. She’s also an avid foodie who relishes time with friends, family, and their dogs.
