Before starting personal training with Fitness Lab, James, by his own confession, led a fast London lifestyle.

James: “I was setting up my own business and felt it was time to start taking life more seriously. I joined Fitness Lab to start getting fit – but I now credit my personal training as one of the best things that’s happened in my life.”

James’ lifestyle was typical of someone facing the high pressure and high stakes that a career in London so often entails. A work-hard, play-hard attitude isn’t unusual – but it’s hard to maintain while keeping an eye on your physical and mental health.

James: “My coach has been as much of a friend and a counsellor to me as they have a personal trainer. I credit them enormously with helping me tackle my unhealthy relationship with drink and other bad habits. Personal training started with the physical benefits – but it quickly becomes apparent that your mental health becomes stronger as a result.”
