Train in a private workout space

Personal training at Fitness Lab isn’t like working with a personal trainer at an open gym. At our Soho and Fitzrovia studios, your sessions are held in your own personal training ‘pod’ – an area that’s exclusively yours while you work with your dedicated trainer.

In your pod, you have all the equipment you need – from cutting edge weight training and cardio equipment to conditioning and stretching space. You’ll never waste time queuing, you’ll never have to wipe the machines down before you start, and you’ll never have that feeling that you’re being watched by other gym users.

A wrap-around expert team

Our experienced personal trainers are just one part of the overall Fitness Lab team. Working alongside them, we have sports massage therapists, osteopaths, physiotherapists, chiropractors, nutrition experts, pilates trainers, and more.

Radomira is a great coach. Highly motivating, fun, excellent listener, sessions with her are never boring. She know how to push people out of the comfort zone without forcing them. Rare quality for a coach. The studio itself is optimally located at the heat of Soho and is very well equipped. I have been with Fitness Lab for 2 years it has been a gradual transition to strength and fitness working with my excellent trainer Ash. It isn’t a quick fix to weight loss but a longer term investment in being a stronger me. I chose Fitness Lab because the idea of a gym with a more intimate atmosphere, free from overwhelming crowds was very appealing to me. Originally, I planned to join for just a couple of months to get ready for summer, but here I am in November, still committed! I would absolutely recommend Fitness Lab to anyone who is looking get the best PT experience in London. It really helps to be working out in a private space rather than in a public gym and the facilities and equipment are all first-rate and well-maintained. I have to give a huge thank you to my PT, Ash, who has turbo-charged my training. He has put the time, effort and his knowledge into tailoring my workouts to achieve my goals. I don't feel like I'm aimlessly working out or unsure of whether I'm doing the right thing or not anymore and the results have been fantastic. I'm improving in areas that I have always struggled with and it just makes me even more motivated. Ash always brings the right vibe so that I look forward to each session rather than it feeling like a chore. Strength training is often at the heart of what we do at Fitness Lab. Time and time again, the benefits of toning muscle groups and improving strength have been scientifically proven to help manage bodyweight, help to fight chronic conditions and diseases, improve body image, increase energy levels, and improve a person's mental well-being. Your fitness training program will likely start with bodyweight exercises, balance training, and a focus on mobility - but you'll be amazed at how quickly your progress!

If you're thinking that we'll get you started with a weightlifting bar with a huge stack of weights at each end - don't panic! 

There's often an element of 'resistance' involved in our exercise programs - but resistance rarely means picking up Olympic-level weights! For people starting or resuming a journey towards improved fitness, this will typically mean using your body weight - or enhancing this a little with light dumbells, small kettlebells, or resistance bands. 

The reason is simple - even if you're very strong, it's absolutely essential to have proper technique. Fitness professionals should always focus on technique and confidence first - then, if it's appropriate to your fitness program and goals, add weight when those things are locked-in.
