Why Improve Your Flexibility?

At Fitness Lab, all our coaches understand the importance of having a good range of motion in every joint and muscle. Western culture, with an increased amount of time spent sitting at a desk, hunched over a laptop or looking down at a phone, has led to a huge increase in back, shoulder, neck, hip and knee pain and a severe lack of movement, flexibility and range of motion in all these key areas.

Improving your flexibility will not only improve your performance in day-to-day life, but also improve your performance in the gym. Through correctly coached movements and exercises, you will be able to see improvements in your flexibility, posture and confidence in how you move on a day-to-day basis.

As with everything in personal training, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to flexibility. That's why, when you start personal training at Fitness Lab, your coach will take you through an extensive movement analysis to understand what areas of movement, mobility and flexibility you need to improve on in order for you to achieve your goals. Our goal is to educate you on learning more about you and your body as we go, to put you in the best position possible for long term success with your health and fitness.
