What doesn’t challenge you won’t change you!

Rhys is a Level 3 Personal Trainer with a BSc in Sports Performance from the University of Bath. Rhys is qualified as a Human Movement Specialist with the Brookbush Institute. Rhys has been coaching in some form since the age of 17 – starting with Caldicot RFC youth rugby team in South Wales. Since then, he has added several additional rugby coaching and refereeing modules during his Sports Performance Diploma at Hartpury College – and more recently, Personal Training on the gym floor at a private gym in Bath. Rhys has a background in elite sport and is currently training and competing in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Rhys is eager to help people become the very best version of themselves – however they define it. He focuses on making sure people are empowered, educated, and equipped with the mindset and techniques they need to lead a healthy lifestyle and achieve their fitness goals. For Rhys, a minimalist, simply explained, high-impact approach to coaching with an emphasis on quality in execution of movements is the very best way to support a client – whilst of course having fun and finding enjoyment in the process.

Rhys works with his clients using a holistic three-pillar model – developing exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle habits. As a sports scientist, Rhys uses science fact to carefully build bespoke programmes that suit each client’s individual goals and needs – bringing together performance, strength, fitness, body composition, health and wellness.

When Rhys isn’t on the gym floor with his clients he can be found under a barbell, in a Gii training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, shredding trails on a MTB, or in the kitchen cooking. If you still haven’t found him he will be with his friends enjoying some down time, watching sports and enjoying life.

I help people become the best versions of themselves, however they define it.
